Build a deckchair to take home. Costs reflect the price of the wood involved in the project.

Students will learn valuable skills including respect for tools and carpentry and construction skills such as measuring, sawing, drilling, sanding, shaping and assembly.

Minimum of 2 bookings for the class to run.

We are looking forward to our fourth visit to the Great British Woodshop in Oct half term. My 9 year old son absolutely loves these classes and is always asking when is it time to go back. My son is learning so much and it’s all being delivered in such an interesting and interactive way. David is fantastic with the children too…. Roll on half term….

Making a proper workshop into a child friendly space is quite an achievement. Giving a 12 year old confidence to use tools independently is just fantastic. My son has come back buzzing from the sledge making session. Cannot recommend it enough.

My daughter has been to a few workshops and always has a great time. So far she has made bookends, a bird feeder and most recently a garden chair. David is patient and allows young children to learn how to use tools in a safe and controlled environment. I’d highly recommend these workshops.
