Make a Fruit Basket/Bowl

Make a decorative fruit basket for your home using basic power tools.

This project makes a great gift for a family member, friend or a useful centrepiece for your dining table. 

Tools involved with this build include the bandsaw/jigsaw to cut out the shaped ends and finished on the oscillating spindle sander then face sanded with the random orbit sander. Next the ends are machined on the drill press to take the dowel rods that create this light and delicate design. 

The base is finally fitted and glued and clamped.
