Enjoyable half day course not only making a garden planter but also learning good and valuable skills when working with wood and power tools. The teacher was very friendly and helpful - taking time with each member of the group and creating a good atmosphere. It’s a great intro class if you’re interested in the other classes available and making something useful for the garden. Highly recommend

Besides enjoying the Woodworking Basics and DIY course, I learnt a huge amount from David. In additon to explaining the use of a huge range of DIY tools, jigs and techniques he was keen to show how he is applying his skills on some significant projects he is working on. He blends clear explanation with the opportunity to try-out the skills you need on many day-to-day tasks or more significant projects and was ever-ready to offer advice on how to address some of the practical issues I face. David's easy-going style, supplemented by years of experience in coaching at top professional levels, enables him to zero-in on unproductive habits quickly yet provide constructive feedback. It's a course that does more than it says on the tin!

Just completed my second course today. Fun, informative, practical, and eye-opening. Both the DIY and tray making classes gave me so much confidence to work with tools and start making/fixing things. I didn't realise how many times the men I trusted to do work on my home were getting it wrong until I learned the right way from David - thanks again!
